I became a part of this wonderful organization after meeting Toni at the York SPCA Bullybash. We were interested in getting a companion for Poppy, but weren't sure if adopting another dog was the right idea, and that is when we got turned on to the idea of fostering. We waited for awhile before the right dog came along for our home, but with Bud it was love at first sight. He wasn't the easiest of dogs and definitely came with a whole page of issues, but he showed so much love for a dog who had been roaming rural West Virginia as a stray and been in a shelter for a few months. I instantly became a sucker for the old men of the rescue! I love giving an elderbull a place to call home!
